I Choose Yellow
What is your favorite color? Right now, mine is yellow. Not necessarily to wear, but to look at. Just like the sun, it lifts my spirits.
Our courtyard is filled with yellow—a yellow table and chairs, yellow flower pots, yellow Gerbera daisies, yellow ceramic boots, a yellow “Ciao” welcome sign and two small lemon-bearing trees…and more.
.
And our home has little hits of yellow, too, like my Glassybaby candle holder named Daffodil and our pantry ceramics.
And the cover of my current writing journal has images of lemons on it as does the cookbook I just rediscovered on my cookbook shelf! And a simple five-ingredient “Spaghetti al Limone” from that cookbook is on my “to cook” list.
SO…yellow it is. For me, right now, at least.

Gotta be yellow after reading this. Love your taste in lovely items to enhance your life on table, in garden, and in your life in general. Miss you, and wonder when you’ll head back our way. Although in SLC at the moment, we’ll soon be back in MSN with no travel plans for remainder of spring, summer, autumn or winter…at this point.

Yellow is the color of HAPPY!
There is little happier than a daisy (my favorite) or a sunflower!

I love yellow too! In the garden I am presented with gifts all of the time. Yellow is an ever present warm and nurturing addition, I so appreciate the way yellow does its own show while the other colors dance around. I wish I could wear yellow it is such a giving color.
