Happy 100!

This post marks the hundredth post of “Bring Joy to the Table.”  Woo-hoo!

I have loved doing these entries and have learned so much through them.  And I have loved connecting with you, my joy community;  thank you for joining me.

Now, for a little change, I’m going to take a mini-vacation from the blog world for the rest of July.  So I’ll “see” you Saturday, August 1.

Until our next rendezvous, here are a few items I’m discovering, or rediscovering, that may be of interest to you as well:

      •Chef’s Table on Netflix.  We just watched an episode on Massimo Bottura. Now I want to learn how to make tortellini!

      •An upcoming premiere on July 21 of another Netflix series called Street Food: Latin America.  This might be an easy way to get in a little vicarious food travel.

      •A book called The Picnic: Recipes and Inspiration from Basket to Blanket by Marnie Hanel, Andrea Slonecker and Jen Stevenson.  It’s fun—with great tips for a successful picnic, whimsical illustrations (by Emily Isabella), and enticing recipes.  I’m going to try the Spicey Salted Olive Oil Brownies.  Mmm.
